4-H Cloverbuds

Is a fun, educational program for children ages 5-7. It is part of the larger Idaho 4-H program, which involves youth from cities, towns, and rural areas in exciting educational activities.

4-H Cloverbuds

4-H Cloverbuds

Offers young children opportunities to explore and learn about their world in a positive environment. Children are encouraged to work cooperatively to explore topics ranging from the miniature world of insects to making healthy food choices.

Helps children:

Develop self-understanding and confidence in a relaxed setting.

Gain knowledge through the experiential learning process.

Develop positive attitudes toward learning.

Develop on-going relationships with caring adults and older youth.

Explore family and community relationships.

Learn how to share, work together, compromise, and resolve conflict.

Develop an understanding of and appreciation for social and cultural differences.

The success of 4-H Cloverbuds depends upon the involvement of family and other adult volunteers who serve as club leaders or in other leadership roles. County Extension offices are eager to talk with adults interested in helping with the 4-H Cloverbuds program.
