Guide Dog Puppy Raising Youth Scholarship

Annually Guide Dogs for the Blind is pleased to sponsor scholarships to youth puppy raisers.  Guide Dogs will be administering scholarships for all qualifying youth raisers, 4-H and non 4-H inclusive. 

The purpose of the Puppy Raising Youth Scholarship is:

·        To provide recognition for volunteerism at Guide Dogs for the Blind.

·        To provide recognition for personal development activities in other leadership, citizenship and community service activities.

·        To provide recognition for scholastic achievements in high school.

·        To provide an incentive for further education.

 The applicant must be a senior in high school, have actively raised a Guide Dog puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and be pursuing an education in any field of study at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school.

To download application and information, see below.   The deadline for scholarship applications is May 15th.  The Selection Committee will review the applicants, and announce recipients by July 1st.
