Become an Idaho Friend of 4-H!
Idaho Friends of 4-H is a membership
program where individuals, groups and businesses can show their
support of the Idaho 4-H program. As a member of Friends of 4-H you
will know you are helping to make good things happen for kids and
giving them a good grasp on a bright future. You will be joining
others to support the state's largest youth serving organization and
touching the lives of more than 25,000 youth across Idaho.
Your membership funds are used to support and enhance 4-H programs
throughout Idaho by supporting 4-H events, college scholarships,
youth leadership training, and 4-H volunteer training. 10% of
membership donations collected annually are returned directly to the
local county program to directly benefit the local 4-H program.
Members can choose to designate their gift to support specific 4-H
programs.

Gavel Club for Idaho 4-H Clubs!
Your
local 4-H club can join the Gavel Club with a $50 minimum gift. 4-H
clubs will receive an engraved gavel and 4-H club kit. Clubs will be
recognized with all Idaho Friends of 4-H in the Idaho 4-H Endowment
Annual Report.

AmericanWest Bank Seed Grants Available: Due
Feb 12 or May 12
4-H clubs and
programs in the following counties are eligible for funding:
Kootenai, Latah, Benewah, Nez Perce, Clearwater. Grant awards will
have a maximum of $250 per group or club.
The goal of this
granting opportunity is to fund worthy 4-H youth development
programs or projects with an agriculture or livestock focus in
communities where AmericanWest Bank operates. The emphasis will be
on projects that impact a 4-H group, club or entire county program
and that meet short-term needs such as basic project funding, new
innovative programs, seed money, emergency or unanticipated
shortfalls. Suggestions include (but are not limited to):
agricultural education of youth and adults, expanding 4-H
experiential learning to youth and adults, and promoting diversity.
